Rily starting to enjoy my stay here in Perth!
Colleagues here r very lovely ppl and management staffs r very accomodating!
Getting used to the radiologists here as well.
Went to another branch for the 1st time ever...LOVED IT!
Staff there r alil blardy nice!
Feels appreciated!
Eventhough the patient list was crazy and inpatients were OLD...
Everyone helped me so much. Met another Malaysian guy in the branch. A radiographer. Didn't rily talk much wif him. Everytime we get into a conversation we will be interupted...either he is needed in xray or I was needed at the reception. Rily would like to hav a good chat wif him. Seems like a nice guy. Duno y I can't stop thinking abt him thou. 24/7. It's like a feeling of something unfullfilled... Something tat I need to do! But don't think I will hav the chance to fullfill tat now...coz don't think I will b scheduled to tat hospital anymore...sigh...

Went to an annual dinner on Saturday.
Greek restaurant.
Food is weird...just canapes, nothing special...
Did my very own MAKEUP for the 1st time ever! Quite a good 1 I would say...proud of myself!

had a great nite of champagne and dancing!
No hang over!
Which was such a surprise rily...since the next day I had to meet up wif a fren,J, for breakfast.
We went to Spice Express on Sunday. Had chicken briyani n it was not too bad. The curry puff definately tasted so much better comparing to the last time I was there. We talked abt work work n work. Listening to wat he has to do during his training is JIALAT.
Went to my favorite hang out place next, UTOPIA!
For bubble tea of coz!
Chatted again...this time abt travelling to Japan. Haha...made me feel like going Japan now...ermmm...but radiation hmm...nah...Mayb not now...Haha...
Sat there for almost an hr I think.
Then went home. Sat in the car for again almost an hr to chat abt everything now... Didn't wana invite him up to the small n ugly unit tat I'm renting...abit paiseh ler...Haha...the car was more comfy anyway...rily enjoyed the morning brunch...
Shld rily do it more often wif everyone!
Got home at around mid afternoon, slept the whole afternoon just because...Haha...

Ohya, haven't been going to the gym for almost a week liao!
Not good....rily not good...gona get into routine again this week.

N so dam yummy!
Alil expensive ($11 per plate)but wel I was in the bz bz city... Had the combination fried mee hoon wif vege, chicken and tofu... N lots n lots of sambal! Yums....
All I had to so was open my eyes big enuf to look around for good yummy Asian foods!

When u look hard enuf, u will eventually find it!

a feast during previous trip to Perth

HAVEN to me!!!

wahahahaha....

It is situated in the middle of the city...sort of...

The name is ord self explanatory...INTERNATIONAL foods!!!!

There is a particular stall in this food court tat has put some sort of SPELL onto me...

Went there the last time when I was in Perth. MW and EN brought me and PC to this place and we had a BIG FEAST!

This time when I came back to Perth I have been CRAVING to go back to the food court to hav the dimsums!!!

The char siu soh....yums...all the usual dim sum tat I will usually order when I am back in Msia!

Went there last Monday but it was CLOSED!!!!

closed every Monday and I ended up buying this stupid vegetarian fried rice tat was soooooooooooooo yucky n NOT WELL WORTH the money Ive paid for...

I sort of knew tat it would not taste good when I saw the chef...

but I pitied her and just ordered something.

Crossed my fingers hoping tat she would surprise me...when I saw the fried rice, my eyes were CROSSED!

didn't even need to taste it to know it was yucky!

So this time when I went back to the food court...I made sure it was NOT MONDAY and tat the dim sum place was open!

I went there during lunch time today.

Walked nearly 2km from my work place and back...

So, 4 km in 30mins!

Boy was I quick!!!

I was sooooooooooooo happy when I saw the dim sums...wanted to buy EVERYTHING!!!

I had to control myself when the lady asked me wat I wanted...haha...

so I bought 3 things...

1. Chan Pau

2. Char siu soh

3. Juin tui wif lotus paste (my favourite)

Couldnt wait til I walked back to work...Had the juin tui on the way back and I near fainted!!!!

Did not eat this the last time I was here....

Then when I finally reached work again, I had the char siu soh...OMG!!!!!

seriously...$4.50 for each plate which consists 3 pcs of every thingy...

IT WAS SOOOOOOOOOOO WORTH IT!!!

I would go for this over a sausage roll anytime!!!! (well erm...i never liked sausage rolls anyway)

Going into the 4th week ord...
It is definately getting better.
I am an expert in driving using the gps now...

Jus upgraded my WiFi plan to the UNLIMITED plan!
Wahaha...found a couple of download sites...but then my usual download site for my hk drama fix is CLOSING DOWN! Noooooo!!!

Now tat I know wat is expected of me in this radiology practice, I can now work properly.
I am up and running again!
Being myself and doing wat I do best...which is SCANNING!

At the moment my life is very sedentary on the weekdays la... Work, gym, eat, movie n slp... N then doing it all over again the next day... Getting bored wif it man...Tot going to the gym mite fill up abit of my evening time but...jus feels like I'm not using the evenings wisely...hmm....
Come home from gym ord 7 pm...n then cook, shower or 8 something liao...makan n then rest abit 9 liao...JIALAT! n 1 day ord gone...Haiz...

Need to go out at night la... But where to?
Everything is close at night! Worse than cairns la!

Weekends is not bad...
Hanging out wif frens almost every weekend...

I wonder where I can learn mandarin. Like get a certificate for it...lol...

Thought I will nvr say the 4 words...THANK GOD IT'S FRIDAY!!!

or even the 6 words...OH MY GOD IT'S MONDAY TOMORO!!!

I dont think EVER in my life in OZ I hav ever said those words...

I've never rily felt my work is a JOB that I HAV to go do...but more like a DAY tat I jus enjoy...

well there r ups and downs in my work tat sometimes I feel like I wana stay home and do nothing but never rily DREAD going to work like wat I am experiencing now!

Everyday when I wake up at 6 am to get ready to go to work, I keep on asking myself....y JESSE y???!!

Hoping for it to be a better day everyday for the past 2 weeks!

I have only been working for 2 weeks and ord I'm winging so much!!!

Still have 15 more weeks to go!!!

Erm...shld b alrite I think...well, it has been getting better and better each day...

I have gone pass the phase where I dislike the female radiologists...well at least 1 of them I have gained her trust in my scanning skills but not the other 1...she acts like a SPOILT PRINCESS...such an emotional person for a professional person!

duno how her husband or bf can stand her...so ERRATIC!!!

The machines that they use here r all Phillips IU22 and TOSHIBA...HATE THEM HATE HATE HATE!!!!

I miss my GEs and SIEMENs....

duno how any sonos can see anything wif those machines!!!

Wel they r good for small parts la...but definately not for pelvic or OBS scans at all!!!

struggle like siao wif the IU22... havent done any MORPH wif the TOSH yet...hmm...

and bcoz the machines tat I am using here are quite crappy to me, they make me STRESS!!!

cuz I am not seeing clear enough to say this and that!

with the GEs, I can confidently say yes this and yes that anytime!!!

I am actually spending the FULL 30 mins scanning time that is allocated bcoz I am taking all the time there is to scan over and over again just to make sure!

IT IS SO TIRING AND STRESSFULL!!!!

next locum tat i go do, I have to make sure they hav GEs or SIEMENs b4 actually saying yes to the locum.

But at the end of EACH WEEK when i see my bank account, I FEEL BETTER all over and ready to start the week again!!!

hahahaha....seriously wat else am I doing this for?! IT IS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY I CAN GRAB while locuming!

I am only doing this for 1 year, so my aim is to make as much money as I can. I am still young and shld b able to handle a little stress like this!

Into 2nd week

Work has been quite stressful. Thought it would b easier and not as hectic but I was wrong...
VERY WRONG!
Has been working in SJoGM. Very tiring...
Not bz at all but just tiring...
very draining...
I'm doing more of other things rather than jus scanning!
Back in cairns, I am jus scanning.
But here, I need to give A LOT OF ATTENTION to my patients!
Reason? They all too pampered!
Rily sucking the life out of me!

Today is the 3rd day into the 2nd week.
Well, I would say it is getting better.
Met a couple of radiologists here. Everyday different radiologists...
There r 2 female radiologists here...the highlights of the team...both specializes in pediatrics.
Worked wif 1 of them today... Not as bad or as scary as wat every1 has been saying she is... She is actually very frenly and nice. I had a full lists of ped scans today, she came in wif me for 1 hip scan only and then she trusted everything I scanned... Wahahaha... So I had a good day actually...

2 more days in Murdoch and then I will b everywhere starting from next week. Not looking forward to the driving around.

Will be working every Saturday from now on til end of Sept.
5 hrs on Saturday. Jus to earn enuf money for shopping!
No 1.5 X rate though. Jus a fixed rate tat we've agreed wif...

Still cannot cook properly. I think I need to go to either Target or Big w to buy a non stick pot or wok... Cannot even fried an egg!

Joined a gym here last Sunday. 10mins drive from my place here. Abt 20 mins from work. Gym wif a pool... Heated pool!
Went twice only so far. Hav to go more often...

Sleeping very early every nite. 9.30pm. If I slp abit later, I can't wake up the next morning! Jialat...

kk...its 8pm liao...better to hang up the uniform to dry n then get ready to slp...

Have been attached to other sonos for the past 1 week. Getting bored! Jialat.
It feels so weird now tat when they need fit ins they don't come me to u but other sonos.
SO WEIRD!
All my life as a SONOGRAPHER, I hav always needed to fit in patients but now tat I am in a MORE established and MORE organized place, there r sooooo many MORE experienced sonos.
WEIRD! but good.
Means tat I do not need to scan as many patients. 30 mins appt for a 7.5hr day...not bad eh...abt 15 patients per day!

Nearly had an argument wif another sono here. But I gav her the credit if the more experienced one n did not argue any longer wif her. It was abt an angle correction for a doppler scan. Jialat! I say it was parellel but she said it was not, saying tat my angle needs to b turned up...but then it would be more 60degs liao?!
Jialat! And she kept on saying ya...so? Watde...I knew it was gona b a problem wif me scanning coz she has her angle ALL above 60 anyway!
So bcoz the scan was gona b under her name, I did not argue wif her no more. She is the MORE senior 1 after all...

Attaching wif a male sono yesterday was great!
He looked like my sifu,SAS.
Well, of coz still no one beats SAS but he was almost as good!
The radiologists trust his scans!
But 1 thing very weird was he did not need to write a lot of his worksheets...he just need to go talk to the rad abt it and tats it!

Did not cook yesterday, had KFC instead! All the fast foods are just next door...u name it, its there...KFC, McDonald's, hungry jacks, red rooster, etc...Jialat!
Cannot cannot....
Still hav a lot of veges in the fridge tat I need to eat...must gambate to eat them...Haha...

Everyday driving home from work passingby the river, the view is AWESOME!
If I drive home at abt 5pm, the sun is JUS abt to set, the egg yooo is magnificient! Going to try to snap some pictures later. Hopefully I can snap while driving! Haha...

COLD!!!

Duno how long I can tahan this cold man...

Sleeps so early bcoz its too cold to do anything! Jialat! Snuggling under the blanket is so nice with the heater turned up to FULL BLAST! Wearing multiple layers which makes me look like I'm at least 5 kgs fatter! Hav to do something abt it...

Gona join the gym on Saturday. Then hopefully I will hav more things to do.

Driving to work is getting better. Max 18mins to work...geng leh.. Hehe...

Working started to get better yesterday. Had my own list. Gosh the feeling of working in a hospital environment brings back the good old memories of my 1st work place in OZ.

Good and bad... Surrounded by intimidating radiologists but at the same time they can be frenly and funny at the same time.

The clinic here is again multinational jus like the 1 I used to work for in Rocky. But some staff is not as frenly. I guess its becoz everyone is so bz n stressed out gua...

I was stressed out as well yesterday....eventhough it was 30mins appts. Trying to chase after this and that was hard when I duno where is everything. But I was lucky to hav a really good ultrasound assistant to help out. She was very good at wat she does and very helpful indeed.

The tearoom always puts me off whereeva I work at. The gossips and the complains u here in there is scary! U can c 1 min the person is so nice to u...n then the next min they mite b talking abt u on ur back IN THE TEAROOM!

gosh... I usually jus walk out of the tearoom if it gets too much...tat itself is stressful...

Cooking is so hard in the tiny lil studio apartment. Not enough cooking utensils...

Jialat! Won't get any better liao...

Now they want me to work on the weekends...shld I? Hmmm...don't think they can afford my overtime ler... I hav a feeling they will ask me to compromise abit on the pay... Shall c Wat they r offering...

Start of work day 1: 04/07/2011

I won't be talking about my work in Perth in detail but more on my journey on moving from 1 place to another.
Driving to work on day 1 was INTERESTING!
was very very lucky to hav my HTC gps wif me...
Even then, I was making so many wrong turns cuz I'm not rily familiar wif the gps yet.
So a 20mins drive to work turned out to b an hour's drive!
Jialat de neh!
Lucky I came out early. 6.30am!!!
The car tat I was driving was almost falling apart which made me drove even slower than my usual slow driving pace!
Imagine all those fast city pace cars...all so impatient...
Got to work at abt 7.30am and sat in the car till it was time to work which was 8am. Almost frozen in the car! Lol...
Of all days the reception hav to be late was on my 1st day!?
10mins late leh... Patient was standing there impatiently waiting wif a full bladder!
Sigh....n of coz I was there shivering n exhaling smoke from the cold! (not fuming wif anger)
N tats not all, the sonographer who was suppose to start at 8 was not there yet! Jialat...
Well, let's not get into the working part anymore detail...
Jus put it this way, I think I've been jinxed!!!
Wherever I go for work, it seems there won't b any work left (not bcoz I've finished them). For e.g rocky...work started to slow down A LOT b4 I left...n then there is cairns...slowed down A LOT A LOT as well...so when I came to work, I was told tat they need sono bcoz there is a shortage of sono to do the work! But the list was HALF EMPTY (or half full...whichever 1 u prefer to say la)... JIALAT!
Rily been jinxed...
Driving home from work was alright...15 mins only....lol...
Went to exchange my car...still old but not as noisy la...
Then went to check out a gym which was Jus across the road from where I was staying...but....it was a VERY VERY OLD N BASIC gym...a lot of ppl...coz the membership was quite cheap la... But I didn't rily like it...they hav a well built lady receptionist tat their voice sounded like a man's voice...scary...
So I've decided not to join tat gym. Going to check out another gym today. Depends on how I go wif getting home safely after work la...Haha...

Slept rily early last nite after dinner...I think it was
9pm...so tiring from driving and doing nothing at work...
Hope it would b better today!

ps: I will b blogging the next morning everyday (try to). Tats when I drive to work dam blardy early n hav nothing to do while waiting in the car for the time to pass la...

1st stop of locum journey is no other place Perth!
Stepped off from the plane and 1st things I notice was, I'M EXHALING SMOKE!!! 10pm Perth time zone...drizzling away...JIALAT!
Cold cold cold!!!
Frens came to pick me up and went straight back to their house. Cozy cozy warm!
Had. Good slp...

02/07/2011

Next morning...went to the community gym with a heated swimming pool! Yea babe...had a jog n a good swim!
brunch @ Atomic, checked in and then went to watch a ballet @ the Regal theater. 1st time watching a ballet performance live. Was good I had to say.
Then off to groceries shopping. Now I know Wat they meant by higher living costs in Perth... Eggs, cheapest was $3.30 for a tray. Whereas in Qld, it would hav been only $2.40. Hmmm...
Next was to Chinese groceries shopping...now, Chinese vege was so much cheaper here... Big bunch of kailan was only $1. Now tats cheap. N then we were hungry and cold...off for Indian food. I had nasi briyani lamb. Not too bad but I've had better ones. Now, b4 eating, we were freezing cold...but WHILE we were eating, I was sweating like Cow!!!
No, not because it was hot and spicy but I think it was becoz of something in the rice which actually make u very hot n sweaty! Should b the spices tat they used.
After dinner, we head off back to the apartment. Eventhough I've checked in, but I haven't rily seen the unit yet.
Not too bad I would say; clean, simple and basic.
Everything I would need for a short 4 mths stay.
Next was to get the car from the block of apartments next door. Omg! The oldest car I've ever driven! Creaks n cracks like its going to fall apart! Gosh...
Drove it back to the parking near my unit.
M n E tried to turn on the tv and make the digital top box to work but Nop couldn't make it work...
Frens headed back and I was left alone to do my things...UNPACK!
Hav a big headache...from jetlag n being out the whole day I think!
Slept rily early....
Tats enough for 2 days worth of event blogged.

Did not get much slp last nite...
Drank some alcohol...but made me even more awake!!!
Slept on a quite smelly bed (not mine n no, not in a man's bed...lol)
couldn't breathe most of time due to the smell n eventually dozed off (or passed out due to lack if oxygen? Lol)
Omg!
It's Saturday ord....6 more days to go till the day I'm actually leaving!!!
So berde excited!
Wonder whether it would b as great as I have been imagining it to be?!
Is it going to be as cold as Wat every1 has been saying?
Will I survive the cold?
Gosh, my arms r going to b so painful if the cold is too bad!
All packed and VERY READY to go...
Something is bothering me though... Somehow I hav a feeling tat the 2nd reason tat made me head to Perth is not going to succeed.
Sigh...we shall jus wait n c...so far it has worked out to my favor....

So fast and its already end of FEB 2011....
went back to msia for cny and back ord...

the last time ive written a blog was like in oct 2010...

now tat i have nothing much to do, i wil try to blog again ler...

remember how i was saying the last blog tat i duno when will my pay b reviewed again?
haha...i jus got another SORT of pay review again...
wel...u c, i have been 'promoted' to the CHIEF sonographer position...
its my GREATEST achievement yet, i would say...

so far, my life is falling onto the rite track tat was NOT planned ahead!

i think ideally, every1's dream would be to own a house, a car and be financially stable aka be a manager or some sort of high position in their jobs before reaching the age of the BIG THREE ZERO!!!
but for me, i have nvr dreamt of any of those things lo...
as in, nvr came across my mind lo..

wel...i can tel u now i have achieve the 2 of the above 'dream'!

1. own a house
2 become the chief sonographer

i wil try to fulfill the 3rd dream by the end of MARCH 2011...just need to take the god dam driving exam and i will be able to get a car!!!

according to mom, since i have everything tat i need in life atm, the next step is to find a AHEM...
hahaha...
oh well...tats mom...

for me, its let it be...i believe in fate 1 lo...
when the time comes, wat shld b will b...

Things that happened & happening....

So fast its Oct liao...
ive been working in this company for 10 mths leh!!!
a good 10 mths id say...

had my pay reviewed at the end of June, not to the wage tat i want but close...
wonder will they ever review it again?
suppose to get a review every yr...
but somehow i feel this company is quite 'kiam' ler...being a small company n all...
hmm...jus wait n see lo i guess...June 2011...

hav been working too hard liao...
shoulder, neck & head are under STRESS!!!
constantly getting pains in these areas...
took 1 week off to recuperate my health and to get into a GYM routine once again...
it worked!
after 1 week of resting AND DOING NOTHING... no more headache since but the shoulder is stil
ouch'ing'
going to make an appt to visit the physiotherapist next week...
hopefully my health insurance will cover tat fully without needing to pay the GAP.

Gym'ing' is quite successfull up till now...
going to the gym everyday, ermm almost every day...minimum 4 days/week.
cant run liao...my left foot is in agony!

has some calcifications in the 2nd and 3rd metatarsal head which is cozing me pain everytime i run or walk too much. its rubbing against my flexor tendons...
n of coz this have to pair up with some MORTON'S NEUROMA....its some not 1!!!!
there are between 2/3 and 3/4 metatarsal head de neh!!!
Dr Y injected the 2nd metatarsal flexor tend and its feeling much better.
but everytime i run, it will hurt like crazy, so now i hav stopped running and changed to cycling and using the eliptical machine instead.
no matter how much i run on the eliptical, the effect is still not the same ler...
sigh...
i miss running...
remembering everytime after i run on the treadmill for 30 mins, it felt sooooooooooooooo good!!!

I have officially 4 mths to go before i go back to Malaysia for CNY.

when my mom calls me on the msn, my niece would be near her...either on her lap or in the walker thingy where she can go around the house by herself...
when its connected, she wil say 'uhh'...
acknowledging tat she can hear me and see me on the laptop...
so cute de neh!!!!
n then she wil stare at the screen...

she knows im call 'gu jie'
when mom says 'gu jie gu jie' she will automatically turn her head around to look at the lap top...
hehe...

Ive decided NOT to return to Malaysia to work liao...
as in NOT to return as WHEN Ive hoped to...
hav always tot tat i WILL return to Malaysia one day...for good...
but i hav FINALLY made the decision NOT to return to Malaysia liao...
mayb when i retire ler...but DEFINATELY not when i still need a job!!!
dont think tat i can work in the Msian working environment ler...
had a phn interview from a company in Sg last week...
it went well but then, somehow it made me feel very uncomfortable...so ive REJECTED the job offer...
the working benefits back in SG or Msia WILL DEFINATELY NOT be as good as in OZ ler...
n tat i hav accepted as the TRUTH!
i love working in OZ...
getting paid for wat im worth for...
getting paid for my OT...
getting ACKNOWLEDGE for the effort ive put in my work...
i hav NOT A JOB....BUT A CAREER in OZ!!!

she is gone foreva...29/03/2010

she has been having diarhea for a couple of days now...
brought her to see the vet, vet said its ok for her to purge abit. Just take the medicines...
cannot put anything thru her mouth, not even the medicine...
everything tat went in, came out thru the mouth...
she has bcome more dehydrated each day...
told my family to send her to another vet, but on sunday, the vets are all closed...

this morning when mom went out to do her morning chores, she went over to her to pat her head and see how she was doing...
she was happy to c mom...
its like she was waiting for my mom to wake up in the morning b4 she leave us...
she wagged her tail n looked up at my mom...
mom went to park the car out side of the house as usual..
came into the house and heard her coughing...
so mom quickly went over to c wats happenning...

she was coughing so loudly and then vomitted...laying on the ground...
moaning very loudly in pain...
as if trying to tel my mom tat she is in pain...
tat she is going to leave us...
n then she stretched out all her four limbs...
mom saw tat her eyes turned grey and she LEFT US...

i found out thru facebook tat she has gone...
my heart was broken into pieces...
she has been wif me since she was borned...
i nursed her when she was a pup...
still remember that she was the fattest of the litter...
always got bitten by her mom on the face, n tats how she got the name fah min mau...which means scarry face...

it has been 8 yrs...
lived wif me for 5 yrs n i left the country when she was 6...
the 3 yrs tat i hav not been home wif her, i could tel tat she was very quiet n bored...
i was not there to play wif her...
to teach her tricks or even to play fetch wif her...
the 1st year when i went back to msia, she could recognise me even after 1 whole yr of not seeing her!!!

the cutest thing abt her is tat everytime when i come home from somewhere, anywhere, be it go out to the shops to get something, when she c me coming in, she will quickly look for slippers... n when she found 1...she wil bite it, come towards me, wagging her tail vigorously trying to show off telling me tat she has taken a slipper...
trying to get my attention so tat i wil chase after her for the slipper...
everytime...
every yr when i go back, she still does tat...
tats my dear...

now, she wont be there to greet me at the gates...
she wont be carrying the slippers and wagging her tail to show me tat she knows i care...
she wont b there to at me thru the gates to beg me to pat her...
she wont be there to play wif me...play fetch...
she wont be there to make me feel safe...
she wont be there for me to hug her...
I AM SO GOING TO MISS HER!!!

y cant u wait for me to see u for the last time...
u know i am coming home soon...

im ord missing her...

It was a crazy week!!!!

My supervisor is on holiday...
and usually she does the fit ins...
tats y i say she is GENG!!!

but tat oso was 1 of the reason y she had some health problems last week ler...n i had to go to TSV to replace her instead... i wont go into wat health prob though...tats her privacy...

for the whole week, ive been dooing almost 30 scans per day wif so many blardy morphs n pelvis u/s to do ler...
usually when she does fit ins and over 30 scans, she usually does the msk ones...tats y she can hit the 30 scans per day target...
but the past week was a crazy week for me bcoz all im fitting in r scans like ?MC,?ectopic,?PV bleed...n all of them i repeat ALL of them needed TVS!!!!
wth???!!!!
jialat man!!!

n i tel u, they r all NOT normal scans....so far in a week i have seen--- 6 weeks live ectopic, bilateral tubal mass, 3 cirrohsis, some breast CA & alot of MCs!!!!
in jus 1 week i hav made up the quota of finding abnormalities tat i usually find in a yr!!!

everyday n i rily mean it every single day after work im as tired as u can imagine!!!
my legs r soooooooo sore from walking too fast around trying to catch up n giving the packet to the pts...jialat!!!
here the system works where after the scans, i hav to burn out a cd, put it into an evelope and hand it to the pts, write out the report n then the radiologist will come out to get the reports n then report on them...
the bad part abt this is tat having to BURN the dam cd!!!
u hav to come out to look for the name of the pt, n then burn it!!! n burning the cd is rily like u burning cd off the computer....DAM LONG!!!
n when the cd is burning, i cannot open the file to read the images!!!
it would b great if i can burn AND read the images at the same time, it would be great!!!
then i can save time n not needing to rush here n there!!!

n from tat, my left foot is soooooooooo sore...
i scanned myself the other day n found tat the 3rd digitorum flexor tendon is inflammed with infected fluid in aournd the tendon sheath.... jialat de neh!!!
had to rub counterpain everyday...was thinking of getting a steroid injection to the area but Dr SY reckons the injection would be VERY DE PAINFUL DE!!!
so i backed out...

ive never been so tired in my life...not even when i ran the half marathon...this is GILA!!!
n to add to the tired working days, my neighbour has the ROUTINE thingy going on where they hav parties EVERY TUESD & WED!!! ive tried calling the police and STILL they r so balrdy noisy!!!
i hav a feeling the police did not rily go to the hse to SHUT THEM UP!!!

wif the noise + the tiring day....i am a walking ZOMBIE everyday at work starting from 2pm onwards...jialat o not??!!!

i hav to start taking BERROCCA to help me try to get the evergy i need...HOPING it would help...jus started taking it for 2 days...hopefully it will help ler..
cannot tahan liao...

come home everyday straight to the shower, n then slope onto the couch...stare at the laptop n then go slp...at 9pm!!!

too tired de neh!!!!

its the weekend now n im at the Y's place...dinner & then overnite...good, i don need to cook my dinner tonite...hehe...hopefully i can hav a good nite sleep tonite ler...n then wake up fresh in the morning...i wonder wat time they will take me home tmr? hope its in the morning ler...
coz i would like to stay at home alil...

Sono : So, how many weeks do you think you r atm? 9 weeks?
Pt : yea abt 8-9 weeks

Sono scans and have a look ard the preganancy...

Sono: it looks like you r not abt 9 weeks...mayb further along...
Pt : oh...mayb 10 weeks then? (looking worried)
Sono: ermm...no....its more like 16-17 weeks...

Had a day off today...
with every saturday tat i worked i get 1 day off during the weekday...yeap tat means no OT!!!
so cham...
but then having a day off during the week is actually good ler...
i get to do alot of things...like going to the post office, medibank private and the medicare...

was such a bz day off today...
it was so hot last nite tat i cannot tahan leh...woke up so many times....sweating like a cow...praying for it to rain everytime i woke up in between my slp...n FINALLY IT RAINED...haha

woke up at 6 am...tot of going to the gym but then it was raining cats n dogs...so i slept till 9am...

then washed my bedsheet...vacumm the floor, clean the kitchen....
had some1 over to clean the stove/hotplates & the fridge...it worked but then im sure the rust will definately come back...even the cleaning lady said so... she helped me take some photos of the rusty stove...said she will show the pictures to the agent n hopefully get a new stove installed for me...hehe...

n then the optus technician finally came at 11am...fixed the phn line...n i got connected to the SUPERFAST ADSL ler!!!
wohoooooooooooooooooo...............
after waiting for almost 1 mth leh...finally i hav my home phn connected...my number is....07 !@$$#$%^^% got it???

after tat went to the postoffice to help me bro mail out his transcripts to the UniSA...went jalan jalan in the central shopping centre... walked pass medibank private...tot of going in to ask abt the insurance for me bro...but then ended up upgrading my insurance n then goin next door to do my medicare thingy...
haha....
very very good...

it was ord 3pm liao....
duno wat to do next n i was pretty sure it would b dam dam hot n sunny out there..so ive decided to go to the gym...
yup went to the gymm....
n this is when i realised ive AGED SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!
no more stamina la wei....
cant even do a workout without panting n having dizzy spells....no STAMINA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so i din use it...wil only use it when i am dam dam hot..

now im using a small lil fan tat SY gav me last mth...
cannot use the ceiling fan la...hot air only ler...

had my dinner...n now sitting in front of my SUPERFAST ADSL connected laptop and having some hot tea....eventhough its DAM BLARDY HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but its nice a hav a pot of hot tea after dinner...

last week i was sent to TSV to cover some colleagues that went on annnual leave...

no internet...no blogging... :p

ok lets start..

going to make it short and easy to summarise everything since the last blog...

Things that happened

1. Worked in HB

- met some cool radiologists in HB

enjoyed working wif the colleagues in HB & MB.

- HAD A BLAST IN HB
- Did not go to Fraser Island eventhough i was in HB for 6 mths???!!!

- got my HINI vaccine

- witnessed a SEA OF BATS flying around the beach every evening SHARP at 6pm...

2. RESIGNED from CQMI

- got a few offers to work as a sono in a few places...

- got disapointed wif some1 i almost look up to...

- accepted an offer to work in NQXRAY with the condition that they bring my bro over

- camera hd phn rosak...and sony camera sikit rosak...

3. went to msia twice in 1 mth

- sis in law gav birth to beautiful CLARICE...

- got my PR (finally)

- try to fix my sony camera but they say not rosak...left it back in msia...brought the kodak bck to aussie....bad bad decision...

4. Working in Cairns

- has nvr sweat soooooooo much in my life...its jus DISGUSTTING!!!!

- 1st time cyclone scare --- i bought 2 cartons of drinking water, 2 dozens cans of tuna???!!!, n many other can foods...but it was jus a scare!!!

- has joined a gym for only 350AUD per yr!!!!

- had my FIRST INTERNET WITHDRAWAL SYMPTOM!!! cant live without INTERNET!!!!

- hd phn camera fixed itself...by dropping onto the floor!!! muahahahah

Things that is happening

1. Has to work HARDER

- need to send more $$$ home for bills & bills...dad has retired therefore I will hav to pay for the car installment =_="

- has to pay for me bro's uni tuition fees

- is still thinking whether to buy a car o not???

its TOO HOT & HUMID to walk anywhere in cairns!!!!!

try to NOT have anything to do wif any of them if i can help it...

but i hav been quite lucky (touch wood) thruout my working life where most of the drs tat i hav came across were all LOVELY!!!

the past month has been great!!!
locum radilogists that come from a particular group in NZ...
rotates every 2 week...
so far 3 rad hav came n gone...
i LOVED all of them...
they were humble, co-operative, frenly, easygoing, approachable, smart etc...
it was jus simply great!!!

but...this WEEK HAS BEEN HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ANOTHER 1 WEEK TO GO!!!!!!!!!
WTF!!!!!!!

1 tat does not listen to u!!!
1 tat does not dare to report!!!
1 tat does not think!!!
1 tat does not hav confidence in u!!!
1 tat does not belief in u!!!
1 tat thinks he is GOD!!!
1 tat has the EGO of a i duno wat!!!

an incident happened today tat proved my point!!!
a shoulder injection...
patient had an injection done in a competitor's practice in June this yr...
that practice uses local anestethic to the skin...some drs do n some doesnt...
so this particular dr doesnt...which is fine...but the patient insisted tat she wanted the same as she had done which is wif the local anesthetic...
but the dr say no no u don need tat coz tat will cause more pain...
there u go...he doesnt listen!!!!!
n he injected the shoulder...
the patient was NOT HAPPY!!! n seriously NOT HAPPY!!!
after the dr left the room, she was like...im not happy...i prefer the other place where they used the local...
went home, n then told her husband abt it...
husband called to COMPLAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
haiz....

he is always QUESTIONING MY WORK!!!!
which in the end im always RITE!!!!
n then he will say i agree...n i think this is wat im gona write...

he does not only question my work...which i do not mind rily coz he IS A RADIOLOGIST...he has the rite...but he QUESTIONS OTHER RAD as well!!!

he was like 'OH NO!!!!

was his last day in HB (he is a locum from a group of KIWI radiologists which changes every 2 weeks)...so he came to say thank u n u know the usual it has been great working wif u sort of chat la...
n a job opportunity offer came!!! (i willl try to write dwn the whole conversation...as much as i can remember)

JM: oh...Thank u dr...its been a pleasure.

DR: so i wont be seeing u in Oct when i come back for another locuming here? coz u said u were going back to msia for a holiday?

the past 1 mth has been the most REWARDING mth ever!!!
the most rewarding thingy a SONOGRAPHER can ever get!!! (at my stage anyway)
my HEAD IS 3 TIMES BIGGER now!!!

getting RECOGNITION from several radiologists...
its very WOW thingy!!!

'u jus b good, continue to b good, when u do good, i look good'

last thursday was the LAST DAY my sifu in HB... :(
he gav me a lift back to my place n those were the last words he said to me

it seems, all the radiologists tat hav been coming to HB for the last few mths hav been pretty HAPPY wif my work...
hehe
n my sifu knows most of the radiologists...
they hav been ermmm *cough* praising*cough* me*cough* alot in front of him...

my sifu,SAS, actually came in to the ultrasound room n then told/whispered to me that the radilogist was very happy wif my scanning...hehe
before tat they were in a room locked behind the doors discussing abt something very very SECRETIVE!!!

n then later in the day, the radiologist himself told me tat again...

telling me how nowadays sonographer do not actually know how to OPTIMIZE their images n jus depending on the machine settings to do their scans...which is actually no good...

the reason y we, sonographers learn physics is SO TAT WE CAN FREAKING OPTIMIZE OUR ULTRASOUND IMAGES!!!
but nooooooooooo...............alot of THE YOUNGER TRAINEES think tat after they FREAKING pass their physics, they can chuck it out of the WINDOW of their brains!!!

there is A BLARDY REASON for having the BLARDY PHYSICS as the BLARDY CORE SUBJECT to ultrasound!!!

u c the machine tat i am now using in HB is a GE machine...
a VERY VERY OLD GE machine...
now, ive nvr rily been a fan of GE machines, i prefer SIEMEN's antares...
anyways, the GE machine tat im using now is a LOGIQ 7...which is pretty old, older than the LOGIQ 9...
but 1 thing good abt this LOGIQ 7 is tat the optimization capability of this machine is so much BETTER than the logiq 9...n therefore allowing me to OPTIMIZE my images as to how i like it...

n the dr realised tat the scan images tat ive been sending to him had been VERY VERY OPTIMIZED!!!

he found out when we were trying to do an injection 1 day where he tried to scan himself but could not c a single thing if i did not optimize the image for him...

yea... i tot i jus gotta brag i mean blog this dwn...

jus as a MEMORY of HOW GOOD & IMPORTANAT IT IS TO BE A GOOD QUALITY SONOGRAPHER!!!

n i din even watch the movie YES MAN...
jus saw the advertisement abt it...
something abt him being a procrastinator???
always saying NO to things...to going out...to having dinner wif frens...

tat sounded very MUCH LIKE ME!!!

n somehow i hav a feeling tat the movie is saying HOW MUCH HE HAS MISSED IN LIFE bcoz he was always saying NO!!!
n then he took the challenge by saying YES to absolutely anything and EVERYTHING!!!
i do not know how it ended...bcoz like i said, i DID NOT WATCH THE MOVIE...

n then there was an article on something abt not being able to meet new ppl and expanding his/her social life...n the 2 BIG principle to change tat were

1. JUMP into saying YES to any social event u can get ur hands onto...(dont make it look too obvious tat u r DESPARATE la...haha)

2. cant remember the 2nd 1...haha but anyway...

so i hav decided....ermmm...to try to say YES to almost anything & everything (to the limit with sanity la..wont be like the movie where he goes and do a bungee jump...lol)
gona try it out for 2 weeks
i wana make the most out of my time in HB...

do more in my life...

SWOOPPPPP BY A MAGPIE!!!

ive been in aussie for almost 3 yrs...

hav always heard about magpies attacking human during mating season if u go near their nests...

but ive nvr encountered it b4...even though ive been walking to work everyday!!!

tats lucky i suppose...

nvr rily knew how a magpie look like...

they actually look like a typical crow with some white bits...

jus like a 1 in the picture...

always c them around but never tot they were a threat...

hav seen them looking at me when i walk pass them...always find it amusing when they ACTUALLY look back at me...turn their heads to follow me as i walk pass them...but seriously nvr knew THEY were the magpies tat every1 is afraid of...until yesterday when i got 'SWOOP'

was walking back from the groceries store in the afternoon...saw birds flying everywhere as usual...

n then suddenly i see a bird flying towards me...somehow it felt like it was STARING at me while it was flying...but it diverted its direction to the left n went to the back of a tree next to me...came round the tree n u know wat???

IT WAS PEEPING...peeping at me...to c whether i was looking at it onot...

so bcoz i din know it was a magpie (bcoz i was ignorant enuf not to know how a magpie looks like), i turned to its direction n said 'look wat look'...n then i walked away...

while i was walking, i felt as if some1 was following me...

din dare to look back to c who it was so i walked faster...n the feeling was like 'it' walked faster too...

n then the next minute 'WOOOOSHHHHH' i felt something flew up pass my head from the back!!!

i looked up and it was the SAME bird tat i talked to...(or rather mocked at)

my gymaholic plan was distrupted...went back to rocky for a week...and now im back in HB....
the 1 week back in rocky was actually a waste of time...
i feel rocky is no longer my place...
now im begining to think wat will happen after 6 mths...
i hav a feeling i will not stay in rocky no more...

applied for my PR...awaiting for the news...pls pls pls...let me get the PR...
once i get my PR, the decision is in my hands....
i ord hav a couple of hospitals calling me to try n ask me to go over to their practice...

u c...once i lodge my PR application, i am given a choice of whether i wana have my resume be placed in the pool of career placement...of coz id say yes...

came back for a week liao...
n things r getting better i would say...
now i am the ONLY sonographer in HB branch...n hopefully have more scans to do since im the only sonographer here...

jus imagine when i 1st got here...2 full time sonographer...start work at 830am to 5 pm wif 1 hr lunch everyday...but...only scan between 9-11am... the rest of the time we will be sitting around doing nothing!!!

the other sono LT, has resigned to go over to the other practice tat wil be opening on the 24/8...
but she has CHOSEN not to stop working just yet...wana EARN some money WHILE waiting for the other place start to operate...when i found out i was like...WALAUWEI...

Was thinking abt joining a gym in HB...
checking it out on the internet, n there were a couple of gyms available...all centred in the city centre...abt 20 mins walk from work...so distance was not a problem in choosing the gym since all the gyms was next to each other...
there was one which was very geng...it opens 24/7!!!
rily....24 hrs aday...
operated fully digitally...as in there is no 1 to guard the gym...
when u join the gym, u will be given a sim card...wif tat card, u will b able to enter the gym wif a single swipe...
tats y its 24hrs...no need ppl to be sitting in front of the counter to c who is a member n who is not...
of coz there are personal trainers and workers there,but jus like any other gyms, there r only in the gym from 6 am to 8 pm...
however, the joining fees and the monthly fees are dam expensive...1 yr - abt 1000aud...
n u can only join in when u sign a 1 yr contract...
i cant join this gym bcoz i wasnt going to be HB for 1 yr...jus the 5 mths...

i was procrastinating abt joining the gym...
duno whether when i join, will i go or wil i b just like when i joined the rocky gym? hangat hangat tahi ayam only???
worried abt walking home at nite after gym...??dangerous???

so on Tues, while i was talking to 1 of the locums at work (the weird 1), she was going to sign up for the 1st time in a gym affter work...n its called OTTO FITNESS WORLD. (saw it in the internet as well)...n i was like hmmm....mayb i shld go check it out wif her...she was gona walk there n back after gym...since she stays jus next to my place, i tot wat de heck...y not???

on the way to the gym, she was telling me abt the joining fees....she was gona join for 5 weeks coz she is gona b in HB only for another 5 weeks only...n the man tat she spoke to offered her a deal where she pays only 56aud per mth....which was fantastic??!!!

the only thing she said was on the dwn side was the equipments looked abit old... so i was like hmm ok...i dun rily mind, as long a the treadmill n biicycles r working...

reached there...honestly, i WAS SURPRISED abt the gym's condition...it IS AN OLD GYM....
abit like those u c on the tv where its old and quite empty...hav u watched miliion dollar baby? if yes, tats how the condition is ALMOST LIKE...

was talking to the man (din catch his name), told him i will be in HB for the next 5 mths...wif 1 mth not being in HB, so he was like hmmm....thinking of a good deal for me, asked me whether i work for the QLD health or not, i was like ermm not the public system but the private? then he was like ok, i'll giv this deal to u...which ws dam a good deal man....
from today till the day i leave HB, which is 25/12/2009 which is abt 4-5 mths, he is charging me 160aud!!!
which is abt 40 aud per mth...

6.00am - finalizing my luggage...all packed??? ready to go???

6.15am - CPC woke up to see me off leh....so touching...lol...go back to slp la...

6.19am - dragging the luggage onto the lawn in front of my unit waiting for the taxi (kan jeongnya)

6.30am - reached the train station...looking for a luggage trolley...'filling up' the luggage

6.40am - checking in the luggage...only 2 pieces...14 and 17 kgs each...had 2 more carry on and 1 laptop bag

6.45am - heart pouncing....

7.00am - train is ready for boarding...D11 was my seat...aisle seat...good

7.15am - wohooooo.....the train is moving!!!!!

7.20am - any1 for brekky??? ME PLS....7AUD...OMELLETTE N BACON...

7.30am - dozed off....

8.00am - brekky was served....smelt good...yummy...but then er...not tat good ler...or not too bad oso...did not expect much anyway...

slept thru the whole ride...

12.15pm - reached HERVEY BAY...brought me to the practice 1st to collect my parcels...it seems there was an incident wif my parcels...haha...my alarm clock went off the other day n no 1 knew where it was coming from...nearly EVACUATED the building...haha...then they realised it was from my parcels...was still frighten...opened it up n only to see an alarm clock in there...hhahahahahha...

12.45pm - went to the BAY APARTMENT...wowy...SO CANTIK....checked in...
AMAZED by how BIG IT WAS!!!!! ver bad design though... 2 living rooms...1 was very much bigger than the other 1....(n im only spending time in the smaller 1 coz there is no internet connection in the bigger living room)

12.55pm - shooping for groceries in Woolies....

1st of all....locum rates are VERY VERY GOOD!!!
then there are other things like....

- accomodation provided
- travel provided
- get to travel around Aussie rather than staying put at 1 place working..boring ler...
- wont be staying put 1 practice for too long...

should be going around while im still young ler...get all the experience from all sort of 'directions' ler...hehe

wel...cant do that now...haiz...im obligated for another 4 yrs to STAY PUT!!! not tat i dont like the current company but then sometimes i feel like i wana go somewhere else to look look see see mer...

my other dream is....TO TAKE 6 MTHS OFF AWAY FROM my current work place!!!
minimum 2 months ler....again, not tat i don like my work place...

but RILY RILY NEED TO GET AWAY FOR AWHILE!!!

was actually thinking of taking 6mths leave (unpaid) to go back to MSIA...

jus to rest, jus to stop working for awhile, jus to take a breather...

but then again...there is a chinese saying... when the hand stops, the mouth stops...which basically means that if i stop working (unpaid leave) i wont hav $$$ to survive!!!

came home, ate n SLEPT!!!
dozed off due to headache, woke up due to headache as well :(

i can tel u tat now OFFICIALLY my LEFT HAND IS USELESS!!!
had my very 1st so called 'hands-on' experience on echo...
somehow it felt like its NOT UNDER CONTROL...lol

CD brought me in to have a look at a few echoes today...
IMPRESSED by the 'tik lak tik lak' tat he was doing...
GENG!!!
he can talk while scanning n while 'tik lak tik lak'!!!
i don think i can do tat...
not even when im doin my general scans...
i need FULL concentration on wat im doing...
haha... n they say women r 'multi-task'???

when he was showing me the echoes, every now n then he will pop a question...
but somehow i nvr know whether he was ASKING ME OR TELLING ME...
lol
well its bcoz he's always mumbling n i was trying very hard to understand every single word he was saying...

so YES, my brain cells R WAKING UP!!!
n ITS PAINFUL!!! i can ACTUALLY feel it waking up...
1 cell at a time...1 cell waking up the cell next to it...
not all is awake i would say...YET
headache started after the 1st echo...(guess the 1st couple of cells r working too hard to wake the rest of the SLEEPY cells...lol)
got worse after the 2nd...
n almost DIED after the last 1!!!
came home, the head was bobbing bobbing...
STRAIGHT to the bed after dinner...
now, awake bcoz of the headache...to painful to slp :(

everytime he asks me a question, i had to MANUALLY TEL MY BRAIN TO THINK!!!

imagine holding it for abt 40-60 mins when i start my training...

need to do some work out for the cacated hand ler...
its a sort of pushing outwards movement wif the left hand ler...
so, i guess the triceps need to be worked on ler...
n then the 5 lil cacated fingers!!!
OH MY OH MY...seriously, the fingers cannot do wat they hav been told

not as 'fiddly' as the right fingers...
right fingers can do wateva i wan it to do...but not the left 1...

had a real good deal week...

started on Monday...

went to woolies...saw a hill of ROCK MELONS...
wowy...how much leh?

OMG 99cents for 1!!!
so i grabbed 2...
cmon...2 melons for 2aud..
not bad leh...
went to the cashier...
the cashier charged me 7.95 aud for the melons...
i was like OH NO...im not gona pay tat money for the 2 melons...
so i asked her...isnt it 99cents for 1 melon?
n she said sternly...nop!!! not possible to be tat cheap...its 3 something each...
n i was like no no...its 99 cents each...
SO she asked some1 to find out the price...n i was RIGHT!!!
muahahaha....so their policy was tat if they charged me too expensive, they would hav to giv it to me for free...but then she charged me 2 for 99cents...oh well...its a pretty good deal...2 for 99 cents...
came home n had it!!! OMG!!! so SWEET!!!!

yesterday nite i had a long chat with a long lost fren yesterday...
his wife is expecting a baby boy in june this yr...
so when i met him online yesterday i asked how was he...
n he replied not too bad...happy but also sad at times...
bcoz of life...tired of earning money to support the family...he felt like he was fighting was something....

so we were chatting on the topic...MONEY....
he was telling me tat he felt like he is ALWAYS feeling like he has to find money...
n my reply was yes...tat everybody's sort of responsible...
i was telling him tat every1 is fighthing...earning everyday in order to provide to the family...
tats wat im doing as well..
every1 is doing it..

as i was chatting wif him...i realised tat i am actually feeding 10 mouthwif my 1 job...lol..

i WAS SOOOO HAPPY & SHOCKED at the same time...
they told me its closed down for awhile bcoz it was not 'ultrasound accrediated' yet...wont b able to run it until its accrediated...
so i was thinking hmmm...it would take along time???
at least 1 week???

Had been having twitching eye for almost 3 days straight!!!

SHOULDER OUCH!!!

not fri the 13th but sat the 14th...was a bad luck day!!!

woke up, beautiful day...
got to go to the company, so i rode my bike there...
tot of going to the gym wif the bike after the meeting...
haiz...mana tau, on the way to the gym, the chain from the bike came out...
so cant continue the JOURNEY!!!
so patah balik, the sun came out!!!
so dam blady hot!!!
so i took out my umbrella as usual, 1 hand on the bike pushing it n the other wif the umbrella...
was alrite but then the road got bumpier n bumpier...
was getting hot and harder to push the bike, shoulder and forearm started to ache...
dam man...

OVERUSED the shoulder during the week ord...due to work...
n then when got home, it was stil alrite...
later the nite, the shoulder got sorer...

n the next day was worse!!!

sunday nite was a torture!!!

put on yoko yoko...din work
had a HOT HOT shower...worked for awhile only :(
n then pasted the medicated plaster onto the shoulder, armpit :p, upper arm, biceps triceps...
then it sort of worked for awhile again..n then thru the nite was not too bad...
was afraid tat i cant work on Mon...so i smsed CD...
tot i din hav a list anyway, so it wouldnt rily harm if i din go to work...
but then again, i remembered asking CD to change the PC list to my list...but on fri they haven change it yet,..
went in on Monday anyway...reached the company...n OMG!!!

but then there came some vascular scans...it is always the vascular scans tat kill the shoulder...
there was no leg arteries scan in my list..but then...haiz...LC had 1..n she din wana do it...haiz...wel for a simple reason,...she doesnt wana kil her shoulder...so she let it kil me...on top on wat is half dead!!!

told CD tat i din wana go to work the next day (which is today) coz i wana rest the shoulder...
he said ok...
but then in the afternoon, KK came n told me tat he need me to go to the north side branch to doo some scans...no patients booked in but jus sit there n wait for walk ins...i was like...but but but...
anyhow i din dare to say anything...haiz...so i said ok..
told CD tat they r opening the north side...i din say i don wana go...but jus said was not happy abt it..
told MS, she got furious...said i shld take a day or 2 off to recover...
CD asked me whether im 'happy' to do it onot...hello???!!! of coz im not...but i had to???!!!
haiz...he asked me to talk to KK which of coz i wouldn't hav...as im always afraid to talk to him...
so i jus took it in as i had to go to work the next day...

later in the afternoon there was a fit in DVT....haiz...did it as wel...
n there goes the shoulder....haiz
tot it would be alrite...

came home, took some medicine...felt much better
but............
WOKE UP IN THE MORNING N OMG!!!!
FROZEN SHOULDER!!!!
couldnt raise the hand at all...
had to do PHYSIO!!!
on me self la...
slowly slowly stretch it...til i hav the full range of movements again...
phew...painful but lucky i can move it now...
don wana destroy it further...so i called in sick today...
oh well...a day off sick for me...YAY???

remember tat 1 of my new year's resolution was (i mean is) to take up a course this yr???

wel i think i AM gona...
but not this yr...
but i will hav to prepare myself for it before i actually enroll into it.

how to make an inexpensive mosquito repellent...YES...ur mouthwash listerine...

it was said to work on mosquitoes adults and larvae as well...

cool rite???

don need to waste so much money on those expensive repellent...which costs more than 10aud for a small bottle...

jus get a smal bottle of listerine n a spray bottle...fill it with listerine n walah!!! u hav an effective mosquito repellent...

ive been reading some websites on this recipe...n it seems tat it does work...n the reason y it works is due Eucalyptol. It’s an active ingredient in Listerine(.092%).

So, there u go...

Australia has officially declared 'WE R IN RECESSION' on friday...

tat was on the news...
n i was like...so wat???
it doesnt rily affect me...
im working in a medical line...
it shldnt hit me at all...

but thinking again..it actually IS affecting me...
at least my job tat is...
oh don get me wrong...
i am not being sacked or is my salary being cut off...phew...
i hope it doesnt get tat bad...

jus the quality of service tat my company is providing to the patients...
wel...i use to think tat every equipment tat im using now from paper towels to ultrasound gel in my work should be from a good quality materials...
but it seems tat the company IS TRYING VERY HARD TO CUT COSTS...
so now they hav gone into getting cheaper materials...n wif cheaper materials, of coz u get CHEAPER QUALITY materials....n then this would of coz affect the quality of service provided n affect the NAME OF THE COMPANY!!!

oh well, i think indirectly they r trying to avoid CUTTING OUR SALARY...

but the CHEAPER materials r actually causing our QUALITY of service to be COMPENSATED...
how???
wel...company wans us to do a scan in 20mins which is of coz possible...but 'just'...
n yet the quality of the materials tat we r using is bad which is causing us to sort of using extra time to compensate the bad materials...

n of coz v still hav to meet the time required...n therefore we try to do the scan faster or other things faster...
n there u go....if we do the scan faster, quality of the scan would not be as good...
patients' service of coz would not be as 'frenly' (pls la...we r rushing here???!!! where got time to say hello n bye bye n bring them all the way to the exit??? finish scan, say bye n walk away la of coz...its seriously a bad service...)

n wif us trying to meet the time...we tend to hurt ourselves of coz...
scanning faster which means scanning more...which means MORE STRESS TO THE SHOULDER!!!

for eg....cheaper paper towels which means poorer quality...which means bad paper...
tearing the paper towel requires more time n patience which i do not hav...
n i hav actually HURT myself while trying to tear the paper....imagine tat???!!!

i twisted my index finger while tearing the paper...

now when i hurt my finger...i cant do the scan properly...

felt a lump 3 FREAKING YRS AGO!!!

went to her then GP...
GP said 'ah...jus a CYST...nothing to worry abt' and sent her home...
said tat for 3 DAM BLOODY LONG YRS!!!

put my probe on her breast...oh WALAUWEI was the only word tat poped into my mind!!!
the lump was soooooooooooooo BIG!!!
HETEROGENOUS, IRREGULAR, SOLID, SPICULATION, INTERNAL VASCULARITY, JUS YUCKY LOOKING!!!
n yet the dr jus said it was jus a CYST!!!

went to the axilla...n OMG!!!
LNs...BERYUCKY YUCKY looking liao!!!!
BERMETS to the other parts of the body thru the lymphatic system liao...
haiz....i feel sad n OUCH for her....

cmon...this is in australia man....i would understand it if this was in msia la...
i tot whether the GP can feel a lump there o not, he would stil hav sent her for at least an ultrasound...tats y v sonographers get SO MANY DAM BREASTS ULTRASOUNDS.... bcoz GPs jus like to send them for an ultrasound jus to keep their ass safe...
i mean i would wana hav an ultrasound too if i can feel a lump whether the GP sends me for 1 o not...jus to b sure....

so we had to do a CORE BIOPSY on her...she was so scared when i told her we had to do a core...
i mean, v don even need to do a core to know tat it is bad....

ok ladies....
if this can happen in australia...the chances of this happening in msia is 100 %...
so pls pls pls....get a mammogram done every 2 yrs if u r 40 and above...
if u hav family history, do it when u r 37 yrs old...
tats for mammogram...
as for ur breast self examination, do it every week...
there r caases where pt did not feel anything this week n then the next there is a HUGE 1....this mite usually be cysts...but then better safe than sorry...
there r breast cancer lumps tat can grow instantly large...for eg, inflammatory breast cancer....
SO PLS PLS PLS...DO UR SELFF EXAMINATION!!!!

When u watch any chinese movies or series, u will kinda c chinese ppl tend to 'STICK TOGETHER'...i mean at least so they say...

as in u would think if u r living in overseas, where there is not alot of ppl who r ur own race, u would be VERY VERY HAPPY TO meet or c them???!!!

i hav a colleague and she is an Indian. She comes from India all alone. I lived wif her for about 2 yrs. We've gone to many places together. And wherever we go, if v meet indians, they would stop n chat to each other. sometimes they would even exchange phn numbers...
n when she does tat, i wil always ask her, do u know her/him/them?
n she would say nop...jus came from india/ fiji...

this is wat im toking abt 'togetherness' here....

but i can BET wif u...u wont get it in a CHINESE!!!

i hav encountered them b4....
the place where i am now, does not hav alot of chinese....
so wheneva i c a chinese on the streets or even if they come to do a scan in my work place, i would try to make eye contact so tat we could at least say hi...
but NO...................... all they will do is RUN AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

as if im gona borrow money from them....

its tat bad...yes very very bad....

a very good example...there is a chinese family of 3 who sells vegetables in the morning market here every Sunday morning... i will visit the stall everytime i go to the market jus to c whether there is any chinese vegetables (bok choy or choy sum etc...)... the family of 3 consisted of an old lady in her 70s, her eldest son (50s) and her youngest daughter (30s)... u mite b asking how did i know??? well...

there was 1 day, i had a chinese old lady who came in for a thyroid ultrasound +/- fna...
she was wif her daughter....like always, i wil start the conversation in english, n if she doesnt understand me, then i will try to speak in the languuage they know...

so i was trying very hard to tel her abt the scan, but she din understand me, so i aked her, do u know how to speak in mandarin or cantonese...so she was very happy n told me she knows cantonese...so i was happy too...as in i finally found a chinese speaking person in Rocky!!!
so i started explaining the whole preocedure to her in cantonese...from the scanning to the FNA...

so she agreed to do the FNA...came back in the afternoon wiff her daughter...she then introduce me to her daughter...telling me her daughter's history...from gettiing married to the UK to divorcing to staying wif her now....tats how i know...

so i tot we've made frens, at least to the old lady i tot...

then after 1 week, i met her in the market where she was in the stall selling vege...n she was alone...so i went up to her to say hello...n then i wanted to get some veges, n i asked her how much was the vege, she then looked at me, n again i asked her how much was it...i asked her twice in cantonese...she jus looked at me...so then i repeated it in english...then she answered me short...1.50...
i was like WTH???!!!

HAIZ.....

n then i bought the vege and walked away....mayb she couldnt recognise me

then the following week i went there again...went to her stall, now don get me wrong, im not trying to get cheaper vege or anything like tat, jus tat veges tat she sells, u cant get them in the normal supermarkets...she then again acted like she doesnt know cantonese....n then i saw her daughter...she recognised me..n greeted

then the old lady asked the daugther y is she talking to me??? n she told her i was the person who scanned her...n she said she knew!!!!!! i was like WTH??!!!

c wat i mean??? CHINESE PPL DON WAN U TO BE CLOSE TO THEM!!!!

Hav been a very tiring day...wel not tat everyday is any diffferent but today was JUS TOOO MUCH.... physically n mentally disturbed...lol

woke up feeling so darn tired...has been like this ever since i came back from msia...duno y...jus tired

was glad tat i had to take the train to work today...which meant i can slp for another 1 hr in the train...hehe

as usual i woke up jus before the train arrived to the destination...but the thing was i din wana rily wake up n get dwn from the train...n i knew it...today is gona b a long long day...

got into a cab...i actually dozed off in tat 5 mins ride!!!! WTH!!!

work started alrite in the begining....but as the day went by, it got worse...
worse how?

i had a FULL DARN list....without KB by my side helping me wif preparing patients...had a trainee tat i had to check evvery single scan tat he does...yea u would think y cant i jus let him do the scan alone???

i did!!!
i tried doing tat n i sort of got fed up wif the dr on my tail chasing after me wheneva he looked at his scans...asking me whether i have seen this or i hav seen that onot...
instead of tat...i chose to RESCAN EVERY SINGLE DARN SCAN HE DID!!! which meant i had 2 BLOODY DARN LIST to do without longer appointment times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wat i hate was...i had to rush here n there where as the trainee jus stood there taking his own sweet time!!!!!!!!!
asked me questions and showing me the scan images n then when the mobile rang, he ACTUALLY ANSWERED IT!!!!

if u missed something u miss...there was no way in saying this n tat n this!!!!
jus accept it...learn from the mistakes...who can say tat they have NEVER MISSED A PATHOLOGY in their life???

we learn to accept n change while we can...

so no matter how was speedy i was...i was still running late for my own patients....which i RILY RILY HATE!!!!

ive always tried to be as professional as i can in my job as i feel being a sonographer is a very professional job ( tat was y i chose this job as my career...to be professional)...

did a half n hour run around my place here...
fixed my bike so tat i can start to go to the gym in the morning...

ermmm dramas still watching...but will slowly cut dwn ler...
dare to be different? ermmm i thnk ive started tat last yr...hehe

holiday back in msia was great..of coz ler great, it was CHINESE NEW YEAR LER....
the best time in the whole year...
did not do much though....but of coz eat eat n eat... gained a total of 3 kgs!!!! WTH!!!

learnt a few lessons over the time...

OMG...the route i mean the ONLY route to the stamping counters was thru the duty free shop!!!!
the ONLY lane out was the SAME lane for those who bought stuff from the shop, so even if u did not buy anything, u hav to line up wif those who is buying stuff.....
wat a STUPID system???
got my passport stamped (after 45 mins)...got to claim our baggage...but there were NO TROLLEYS!!!! SH**DENEH!!!!
IT WAS A MESS!!!!
dam GC AIRPORT!!!
took a shuttle bus to the nearest train station....ROMA STATION...
bought a ticket to the Brisbane airport...
asked the ticket collector for the CORRECT platform to board the train...
he was like...PLATFORM 7....in a goofy, 'i don wana work today' way...
so i went to the platform 7....waited for the train....saw it n boarded...
somehow there was something tat was telling me to check the route while i was in the train...
i hav a brochure wif the rail route in it...
checked it n found out...OMFG!!!!
IM IN THE WRONG TRAIN!!!!
WTH!!!!!
haiz...got dwn from the train....waited for half n hour for another train...boarded it....n then had to change in another station...haiz...
n mind u...i was carrying 2 luggage, a laptop and a back pack....which all added up to almost 40 kgs!!!
i was going CRAZY!!!
NO BREAKFAST, NO LUNCH!!!
WTH!!!!!
by the time i reached the brisb airport i was too tired to walk to the foodd court to get something to eat...jus sat dwn n waited to board the flight...
was jus thanking god tat im finally in the airport...

now...all this has MADE ME CONFIRM tat i will NOT be going back to MSIA tat often anymore...mayb 2-3 yrs once would be ok....
think of it this way...if i don go back every yr, i can afford to take a more expensive n direct flight the next time i go....muahaha....

GOT MY LETTER OF JOB OFFER TODAY!!!

in dilemma now!!!

before today i hav had a couple more offers from other imaging departments thanks to my 'pr officer'...lol

n all of the offers has been good and attractive but ive always wanted to wait till ive seen the offer given by my current company before i decide anything

but to my disapointment, im not worth anything to them at all...

how can a company who does not know my ability can offer me so much and yet my current employer who knows how much i can offer and do, CANT offer ANYTHING NEAR TO WAT the others hav offered me???

am i tat NOT VALUABLE at all???

all tat i hav done for the company...

all the time and effort....

jus wasted???

i don even need to show or proof my ability to the other imaging companies n they are willing to offer me so much more...

im not being greedy or boasting...

but i think i am worth more???!!!

the number of scans tat i can do in a day...i don complain...i AM willing to do them...

the number of time tat i spend in the department....

the effort tat ive put in....

as a normal sonographer....all i need to do is jus scan patients...produce good images for the radiologists to report...find the answers to the patients health problem...TATS IT!!! nothing else...i don need to care abt anything else!!! NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING!!!

n yet in a working day i don feel tats all im doing...

Ever have a feeling like you want something so badly....u hav been hoping to get it...n then....u THINK uve FINALLY found/ got it....but then lose it ???

Ive been 'deported' to Gladstone for almost 3 weeks now ever since i came back from Msia...

don rily mind going away from rocky once awhile though...

These 2 and something weeks have been wonderful yet painful...

working has been great and bad...stressed at times but still alrite...

1st week was the best...

had so many parties to go to...lol

did so much shopping....

so much happened....

come n go....

happy n sad...

got it n lost it...

the day i reached gladstone....27/11/2008 thursday...

met some1 new...

rily nice of him to come up to say 'hi' introduce himself...

had a strange feeling when he did tat...oh don get me wrong...it was a GOOD kinda strange feeling...

a sudden feel of happy...

somehow it made my day...or rather my week...

went back to rocky on the weekend...

was looking forward to the Sunday as he and some of my frens will b coming up to visit me & me hsemates...somewhere to go on the Sunday!!! how good is tat??!!

got an sms saying tat he hoped to spend some time with me alone in Rocky...i was thrilled!!!

woke up on Sunday morning....got into the shower...

but then got an sms on the Sunday morning as i had jus finish showering...'sorry not coming'

ah oh well...too bad then maybe next time...

but somehow there was a feeling of disapointment...

tat nite we went for dinner at coffee club house

food was rily bad...had a ceasar salad so it was called (bacon everywhere..YUCKS!!!)

had a drink at the Diceys...played pool for the 1st time and i WON!!!

but i knew he was jus letting me win...lol

then we watched a movie in the cinema...i mean 2 movies...lol...QUARANTINE & DEATH RACE

movie was not too bad...din rily like Quarantine though - too brutal

by the time v finish the movie it was late...10-11 something i think...cab took foreva to come...

it was a great nite...

everything was alrite....til he pop up a question...(i wont tel wat was the question)

but i was like??? huh???

n then i guess everything went dwn hill from there...din rily understand y though....

y did it had to change from wat we've agreed to do in the beginning?

there was not a necessary to let it go this early... but i guess we were trying too hard and i was getting tired of guessing...

For me i like to hav a 'let it be' relationship...go wif the flow...tat was wat was agreed in the begining, but....

there is never a promise in a relationship...

oh well..tot i got it but then i lost it...

n it all happened in jus 2 weeks...

but then xray was taken...n the FEMUR WAS FINE!!!!

so....the moral of the story is...NEVER GIVE A DEFINATE DIAGNOSIS.....ALWAYS DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSIS...there is NEVER a definate ANSWER in MEDICAL FIELD...hahahaha
hmm...thinking back (and trying to console myself...keke) i did not make a DEFINATE diagnosis...i gave DIFFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSIS ma rite? lol

had some training wif SAS on Friday 17/10/2008 & Saturday 18/10/2008.

training on MSK scans....scans tat i do not know how to do...

as MS is leaving end of Nov 08, I hav to learn all these scans ASAP...

supppose to hav training wif MS when she comes back from her holiday next week...but found
out SAS was coming up to do scans, so i took the opportunity to get some training from him...

he is a VERY GOOD TRAINER... has his PROTOCOL to train students... PATIENTS too....

did my shoulder training wif him...jus 2 days ( 1 day full scanning wif him beside me & the next day a room on my own wif him coming in to check my scans every now and then)...LOVE the way the training goes...very systematic...

so this time when he came up, supposed to be trained on, knee, elbow, ankle, wrist, ped hips & adult hips...

did all those but did not hav a full day of those scans bcoz it was not well organized... as in they did not book specifically for training like how it was done previously for the shoulder training...

SAS din even know tat he was suppose to be training me...he tot he was jus coming up to do some scans for CQMI...so he was sort of surprised wif the list of scans tat was booked in on Friday (longer appointment times;usually he takes 10 mins or less to do a knee but they booked him for 40 mins')

but it worked out ok... at least i think i can do ELBOWS, KNEES & ING/FEM HERNIAS independantly now...and mayb ren art??? will try them out when doing normal abdo scans...

jus ankles, wrists, ped hips & adult hips...can do but need more time n practise...too many anatomy to it....

1st scan by LA/MS - morphology scan at 17 weeks - Generally normal except ECHOGENIC BOWEL

2nd scan by Dr. SP 30/09 - reduced fetal movement & low heart rate

3rd scan by LC 30/09 - follow up from Dr. SP - OLIGOHYDROMNIOS + S/D RATIO ABNORMAL + BRAIN SPARING + IUGR

4th scan by Dr. SP 03/10 - reduced fetal movement & NO HEART RATE

5th scan by JM 03/10 - WTH!!!! not oligo la!!! its ALIGOHYDROMNIOS (i know i know there is no such term...it just mean NO AMNIOTIC FLUID AT ALL!!!) + S/D RATIOS BRAIN SPARING!!!

6th scan by Dr. SP 06/10 - NO FETAL HEART RATE

7th scan by JM 06/10 - NO FETAL HEART RATE!!!!

now the weird thingy is................ her reaction was BIZZARE!!!! how bizzare??!!!

JM: oh yes, abt 395 grams
PT: is tat normal?
JM: (i was like ermmm did the dr even tel u tat the baby was IUGR???) ermm u were SUPPOSE to be 24 weeks of gestation, but now ur baby measures ONLY abt 21 weeks...which means the weight is VERY FAR from NORMAL...which is quite LOW
PT: oh wel...MAYBE MY BABY IS JUS SMALL SIZE comparing to the other babies...which is FINE wif me...i prefer a smaller baby

SHE WAS STILL EMOTIONLESS!!!! NOT A SINGLE DROP OF TEARS!!!!
then the pt's mom stood up...held her hand to thept's face n then started crying...n THEN the patient STARTED TO CRY!!!
i was like...FINALLY!!!!!
sory but seriously i was rily surprised wif her reaction to all this...TOO CALM!!!!

CONFUSE - CD asked me & SS to do ECHOES

PAIN - even more headache when TALKING TO CD (happens all the time but its jus worse now coz initially had the headache the whole week)

DISAPPOINTMENT - CD was offering a junior ECHOES as the same time as to me & SS

PAIN - JUGGLE EVERYTHING TAT HAS HAPPENED TODAY...

it was my DMU AUST PART II ORAL examination.
in SYDNEY...
went to SYDNEY on 13092008 and returned to ROCKY on 14092008...
didnt like sydney at all!!!
y??? ermm....jus say its TOO CITY LIFE!!!
ppl there is not as FRENLY as ROCKYANS....
n alot of CON MEN!!!
taxi drivers...A BUNCH OF CON MEN!!!! (sory to the rest of the taxi drivers)

seriously, now tat ive been to sydney as in been there, communicate wif the sydney ppl...haiz...NOT NICE AT ALL!!!
it is rily ermmm....THERES NO PLACE LIKE HOME (ROCKHAMPTON)
don think i would ever go to SYDNEY to work... (even if the pay is good)...mayb to travel la...
but overall it was good....

Scan indication : Abdominal buldging over pass few mths,no pain , regular periods, ?ovarian cyst, urgent pls, mom worried tumor/cancer.

Pt came wif mom.
Mom sat in waiting area to wait for her.
Observation by me when pt stood up & walk towards the door of my scan room:

1. Skinny
2. Innocent & nerdy girl
3. Wow!!! HUGE BELLY!!! TUMOR??? or PREGNANT??? hmmm...

1st question b4 scan: R U SEXUALLY ACTIVE??? pt say nop....
2nd question b4 scan: Not sexually active as in NEVER HAD SEX B4 IN UR LIFE??? pt say nop...

ok...put cold jelly onto belly...put transducer onto the belly....nnnnnnnnnnn

HOLY VIRGIN MARY!!!! a big baby in her tummy!!!! ELLO?!!!!

fetus measured at abt 36 WEEKS!!! 4 more weeks to prepare IF everything goes well..

1st question when i c the baby : U r sure u understand wat i meant by sexually active??? PT SAY YES!!!

told her but stil she denied it...haiz...
then she asked for her mom...i actually believed her when she said she was not sexually active...
tot she must hav got spiked n din know wat happened next...
her mom was shocked....

haiz....the girl was crying n crying in disbelief
then her mom asked me...how can this b happening???
i say oh wel, could there b any party tat she went unconcious??? she said no....

hmmm but 1 thing very weird leh....she has been having her periods every mth....regular somemore...

then i suggested to the mother, if she rily wana find out, there is a way...
go to the dr to do a virginity test....

N THEN THE GIRL STOPPED CRYING for a min....
i saw her facial expression...now she was in disbelief that virginity can be tested....

her expression BETRAYED her...NOW I KNOW!!!!

SHE IS NOT A VIRGIN!!!

Dam man!!!!

Wat a messy morning!!!!

tot of cleaning the room and changing the curtains...but....the most drastic thing happened!!!

mom sent me a set of new curtains....so tat i can wash the old yucky ones tat was initially in the room b4 i moved in...so the tot of the curtains being old, MIGHT BE 'fragile' as well...

then again 'how' fragile can it be??

haiz.....NOW i know the answer....VERY VERY fragile!!!!

it TORN into pieces....BERKECAI KECAI man....put it into the washing machine but then i was afraid it was gona tear so i open the washing machine to hav a peak...NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN................ ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

not even 5 mins in the washing machine....FIVE GOD DAM MINS....n my whole SATURDAY IS RUIN!!!!

haiz.....sei ler....how how how????

the whole house has the same pattern curtains....so tat means, i HAV to change/buy ALL NEW curtains for the HOUSE!!!!

$$$ very very EXPENSIVE ler....:'(

or.....i can jus buy the same pattern of cloth n then turn it into a curtain...yup....i think i will do tat....

Well, earlier this year ive watch a hongkong chinese series n im sure every1 knows which series im toking abt...'AH WONG. PART II'

heard of it?? umm...wel tats not the title of the series la but jus the name of the character in the series n i think u know who im toking abt...

anyway...im practising HIS principle in life into mine....n i think its working PRETTY GOOD...

which is STAY COOL...and of coz its not the stay cool TO look cool tat kinda cool la...its the dont get warmed up tat kinda cool.....take things nice and easy....SMILE ALWAYZ....u treat ppl nice, ppl will treat u nice....

i know i know...it sounds like CRAP....but im telling u....IT WORKS!!!

especially when i hav to deal with all kinda of patients...

hav this pt today for example....she has a condition which is called as Schizophrenia.

(is a psychiatric diagnosis that describes a mental illness characterized by impairments in the perception or expression of reality, most commonly manifesting as auditory hallucinations, paranoid or bizarre delusions or disorganized speech and thinking in the context of significant social or occupational dysfunction)

She is here for threaten miscarriage... She tried killing herself after her last miscarriage...
so this time when she went for her early dating scan is Brisbane, they found a perigestational sac hemorrhage and today was to follow up...

u know how she made the booking???

she called in today n said...'now u listen, i am having a blood clot HANGING OFF of my baby and it can kill my baby...i hav ord a miscarriage early this yr and i nearly KILLED MYSELF after that....i want to know how is this baby doing now and i wana know rite now....so u;d better book me in today and i wana know it today...if not i will kill myself...'

ha ha ha....so coz of the booking girls booked her in asap....for today in my room....

then when she came in, she came to the reception to register and she said the same thing to the reception girls....so garang somemore....

n so when she came into the room, my TA brought the lady in the room to get her prepared for the scan...n she again told her the same thing....

n when i went into the room, she AGAIN told me the same thing...n BOY WAS SHE RUDE... i jus sat there and looked at her...'act' like i was listening...(so bad ho me...keke)....jus smiled at her...let her 'go off'....giv her time to cry and grumble...

it jus amazes me how she can tel the same thing over and over again and its the EXACT sentences....(coz all of them came to tel me the story to warn me...ha ha ha)

so after some time, i jus smiled n spoke to her nicely n tried to soothe her n calming her down...so she sort of settled down....and then she apologized to me....saying tat she din mean it...and tat she has stopped taking her medication bcoz of this baby........saying tat she was so sory and tat she is suffering from the Schizophrenia thingy....and tat she din mean it....saying tat she cut herself a few times jus to release the tension this morning.....bla bla bla....

eventhough she has settled dwn a bit, i was still scared of her but acted lke nothing and STAYED COOL....ha ha ha

so when i put the probe on her belly i was SOOOOOOOOOOO RELIEVED!!!!
LUCKILY the fetus was stil alive....gosh....
so i told her it was alive and good....
she was so happy.....

n then she SUDDENLY jus stood up and apologized to me profusely....i was so paiseh then....but inside me was happy...was happy tat i did not release my temper on her....jus smiled and KEEP COOL...

this was jus an example....

rily, it happened a few times.....n i jus STAYED COOL...and somehow the opposite person WILL realise tat THEY r the ONLY 1 throwing their tantrum there...and they WILL feel ashamed of themselves after a while....or at least feel STUPID for being a freak....

tats 1 of the tactics to make a person feel and look stupid....which is to stand there and let them 'show' themselves off...lol

wel...tats it...so, STAY COOL PEEPS.... :p
